Writing on this blog has been one of the most inconsistent efforts I’ve had over the past few years. Despite my intent to document and share with you, I’ve consistently failed. Which reminds me of words of wisdom that was once shared with me: nothing changes if nothing changes.
I intend today, the start of the new year, to be the start of me being able to consistently share ideas, information and wisdom with you, here on this blog.
One of the reasons I’ve contemplated on why I haven’t been consistent with this blog is it’s theme. As a real estate broker, my original thinking behind starting this blog was to share real estate news, market updates and investment opportunities. My goal was to publish four times a month, in the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th if each month.
Yet inspire of there being so much to share as far as real estate news is concerned, I haven’t really been able to do so. Not that real estate isn’t an exciting thing to talk about. There are certainly a lot of interesting things that happen in my real estate world. But rather I just don’t find the means to put my thought to the digital pages that make up this blog.
Something needs to change in order for something to change.
And so with 2020 upon us, my idea this morning as I type this blog entry in my google keep app, is to transform this blog into a notebook of sorts. My notebook. No, not a journal, though I will also be sharing some of my deep thoughts LOL on this blog. But a notebook with a collection of my ideas as they happen.
Ideas about real estate, yes, but also about personal finance, mindset and motivation, business development, health and fitness… pretty much anything I think about.
Most of these blog entries will be me thinking to myself, but I want to share these thoughts with you because you may find them useful in your day to day living.
Just this month alone I plan to cover a few topics that I myself want to pursue this year. This month’s entries will include ideas on debt eradication, saving for a child’s future education, creating systems that promote consistent performance, the importance of goals when it comes to staying motivated, and making the biggest impact you can (if that is your life’s purpose).
Stay tuned. I hope you like what you read. And feel free to share your thoughts, ideas and comments with me.
Happy New Year!
