Rebuilding My Blog with Astra.Build 🚀 (Featuring Claude Code and Vercel)

You probably won't see this post live the day I'm writing it, and that's because I'm rebuilding my blog via Claude Code, using Astra.build, and pushing it to Vercel. Right now I'm drafting this on a locally running version of it. And hopefully it'll turn out once I publish it.

I'm moving this entire website from Lovable to Vercel. Nothing wrong with Lovable. In fact I love its ease of use, high end aesthetics, and reliability. But it's time to venture into the discomfort zone -- something I've never done before.

Over the past few days I've used Claude Code to build a simple app, and now rebuilding my website for it. But over the past few decades (since I've owned my own domain) I've jumped between blogging platforms, from a simple, manually updated HTML website, to using WordPress and then Lovable.

Now I'm using Astra, which I discovered while prompting Claude Code to rebuild this website. I learned that it was SEO friendly, so we're going to put that to the test. It relieves me from my dependency on Lovable (which I'll still use for a lot of my marketing projects and app building adventures).

But I want to try something new, and see if I can get my blog posts ranked with good old fashioned search engine optimization.
